Perform Purchase

Click the ÔPurchaseÕ icon in the middle of the screen.

 

 

You can search using several different fields but mostly likely youÕll want to use customer name. Enter a last name and you can press enter on your keyboard and AlphaPawn will search for the name. You can click the ÔSelectÕ button or just click the ÔNextÕ button on the bottom right hand side of the screen.

 

 

Depending on the option you choose for step two you will get different screens. If the item is a new or used item you will get the same box that pops up when you do a sale or loan. If you are stocking an existing item (say you sold food or medicine) you would choose this option because those items are going to have the same details as the item that you already have in inventory.

 

 

Click ÔDoneÕ and the item will show up in the grid. If you need to go back and edit the item right click on the line in the grid and choose ÔEditÕ. If you live in a state like California youÕll need to print a ticket for the police department if itÕs a serial numbered item so the option for that is also available when you right click.

 

The tender payment window will come up. Click ÔDoneÕ then a window will come up give you the option to print labels (depending on whether or not you have your labels set to print automatically).
